CPA - Certified Public Accountant
This certification is issued to individuals who have both passed the Uniform Certified Public Accounting Examination and demonstrated qualifying experience requirements as outlined by the state boards of accountancy where the certification was issued. CPAs must adhere to professional and ethical standards as well as maintain ongoing professional education.

CFF - Certified in Financial Forensics
This credential is offered through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is only available to CPAs who are AICPA members in good standing, have at least five years of experience in practicing accounting, and meet minimum requirements in relevant business experience and continuing professional education. The credential combines specialized forensic accounting expertise with the core knowledge and skills that make CPAs among the most trusted business advisers. The CFF encompasses fundamental and specialized forensic accounting skills that CPA practitioners apply in a variety of service areas, including: bankruptcy and insolvency; computer forensics; economic damages; family law; fraud investigations; litigation support; stakeholder disputes and valuations.

CFE - Certified Fraud Examiner
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) offers this credential to individuals who pass an extensive examination on fraud-related matters and who can demonstrate proven expertise and experience in fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence. CFEs are trained to identify the warning signs that indicate possible evidence of fraud and/or fraud risk.

CVA - Certified Valuation Analyst
This certification is issued by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) to CPAs who have met rigorous education and testing requirements. In addition to passing a comprehensive two-part exam, candidates must submit a professional valuation report in order to earn the credential.

ABV - Accredited in Business Valuation
This credential is offered through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is only available to CPAs who have demonstrated both kowledge and experience in the field of business valuation. An in-depth examination must be completed and the applicant must have experience in at least ten business valuation engagements. All applicants must pass a written exam and provide evidence of 10 business valuation engagements that demonstrate substantial experience and competence.

CICA - Certified Internal Controls Auditor
This credential is offered through the Institute for Internal Controls (ICC) and is available to individuals who can demonstrate extensive knowldege and experience in the field of internal controls.

EnCE - EnCase Certified Examiner
This credential is offered through Guidance Software. It certifies both public and private sector professionals in the use of Guidance Software's EnCase computer forensic software. EnCEĀ® certification acknowledges that professionals have mastered computer investigation methodology as well as the use of EnCase during complex computer examinations. Recognized by both the law enforcement and corporate communities as a symbol of in-depth computer forensics knowledge, EnCEĀ® certification illustrates that an investigator is a skilled computer examiner.
